About this notice
Wayward Labs is an independent software research project. This notice covers this informational website and correspondence with the project. It does not cover a released software product.
The project operator handles contact correspondence. For privacy questions or requests, email hi@waywardlabs.si.
Website visits & hosting
Vercel hosts this website. Serving requests and protecting the infrastructure involves technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser or device details, timestamps, and security or diagnostic information.
The application does not create visitor accounts, a visitor database, or a separate archive of request logs. Where request data is processed on the operator’s behalf, the purpose is website delivery, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention, based on the legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Vercel also processes some information for its own purposes as an independent controller. Its privacy notice explains those purposes and retention criteria; its data processing addendum describes the applicable roles. Provider-held records follow the applicable service settings and provider retention policies.
Contact emails
If you email hi@waywardlabs.si, the operator receives your email address, any name you include, your message, and attachments you send. This information is used to respond to your inquiry and manage the conversation, based on the legitimate interest in handling project correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing this information is optional. Without a usable reply address, a response may not be possible. Please only send information needed for your inquiry. Messages are not sold or added to a marketing mailing list.
Email is provided through Spacemail by Spaceship. See Spaceship’s privacy policy and Spacemail’s service terms for information about its email service and security processing.
Spacemail may scan email content for spam, malware, phishing, or other threats using automated systems, including AI tools, as described in its service terms.
Correspondence is retained while needed to answer the inquiry, follow up on an ongoing conversation, or retain relevant context. A specific legal obligation or unresolved legal claim may require longer retention. You can request deletion using the contact address above; applicable legal exceptions may limit deletion.
Cookies, tracking & AI
This application does not set cookies, use browser storage to track visitors, or include analytics, advertising scripts, or embedded social-media widgets. Hosting infrastructure may use essential security mechanisms.
Fonts are served with the website, so displaying the pages does not require a request to Google Fonts. Links to other websites only take you there when you choose to follow them.
There is no Claude or other AI integration running in this website. Visiting it does not submit a prompt or conversation to an AI model. The site does not make automated decisions about visitors with legal or similarly significant effects.
Providers & international processing
The project operator and the hosting and email providers process information as needed to serve the site and handle correspondence. Relevant information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary for a legal claim.
Providers may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area. Vercel describes its transfer arrangements, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and contractual safeguards, in its privacy notice. Spaceship describes its processing in its privacy policy and applicable service agreements. Contact hi@waywardlabs.si for questions about providers or applicable transfer safeguards.
Your privacy rights
Where GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where its conditions are met.
Email hi@waywardlabs.si to exercise these rights. Proportionate information may be needed to verify your identity. Requests are normally answered within one month; lawful extensions may apply to complex or numerous requests.
You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred. The Dutch Data Protection Authority provides information about making a complaint. Requests about a provider’s independent processing can also be directed to that provider.
Changes & contact
This notice may change as the project or its data handling changes. The date above identifies this version. Questions can be sent to hi@waywardlabs.si.
